Does anybody know of a good, JavaScript-based rich text editor and/or spell checker? I've been doing a lot of research to implement this for Legal Hold and my options aren't quite ideal. Any advice/ideas from anyone out there?
For spell checkers, I'd really like to be able to replicate Firefox/Chrome type behavior for non-supporting browsers. Most notably, I'd rather not have a pop-up spellchecker. I suppose I could try to port one with a pop-up to not having a pop-up, but I'd prefer to just not have one. Not too picky on the functionality of the rich text editor, however. Doesn't need to have 4,000 bells and whistles. I'll consider/evaluate any decent option, be it free or paid.
Is there any precedent or previous implementations here at Thomson Reuters? Does Westlaw Next ever use either of these? If you don't know exactly what was done, but you know a good contact, let me know.
Also, what are the legal concerns with licensing?
**EDIT**: What do you guys think about [jWYSIWYG][1]?
