Why are documents loading slowly when running Cobalt Website locally?
mark.maruska
When running Cobalt Website locally, all documents that I click on take a long time to load and display. The document display is slow. I heard there is probably some proxy changes needed. What can I do to resolve this slowness?

You are likely missing a proxy exception which is causing the documents to take a while to load. To fix this, follow these steps:
1. Open up Internet Explorer
2. Go to the "Internet Options" dialogue. This is either under the "Tools" menu option or the little gear icon on the right side.
3. Go to the "Connections" tab, select "LAN settings", and then click "Advanced"
4. In the exceptions list, add the following to the very end: `;*.westlaw.com`
5. If you are using a different product (other than WLN), then add your product onto this list as well. Example: `;*.accelus.com`
6. Hit "OK" a couple of times, and you should be good to go!
