TR contributions to opensource

I see use of a lot of opensource libraries at TR. This raised the question in my mind. How does this multi-billion dollar company contribute back ? Could find any answer within resource that I know. Does anybody else know?

There is an effort underway to define what is and isn't allowed for TR employees as it relates to contributing to any Open Source project. Obviously TR has a need to protect its Intellectual Property so the need to develop clear rules and guidelines is paramount. Information related TR Open Source policies can be found in the [Open Source Software][1] group on the hub.
Any questions specific to Open Source policies, etc can be asked there.
