Industry and subject matter classification scheme managed by Adam Crane’s team. This schema is applied to Newsroom stories to classify the stories topically. 2800 node taxonomy containing 3 facets; Industry, Location and Subject. Westlaw’s Newsroom news content (both Reuters and non-Reuters news) is classified to this 9 level deep taxonomy. The classification is handled by the jCaRE engine that resides within Adam Crane's group.
