Has someone created 'plug ins' for Sonar?

Looking to understand how easy/difficult it is to create 'plug ins' for Sonar? (Sonar is open source used to analyze & measure source code)

Never developed a plugin myself, but question's kinda vague. I would guess it depends on what your trying to do, what tools you are working with and on your exposure to java programming. This might get you started. I would also visit their plugins page to see if they already have a plugin that does the job.
