Question by Technical · Apr 27, 2017 at 05:16 AM · world-check oneworldcheck-profile-id

Is the only valid form of a World Check profile id: e_tr_wcX_DIGITS?

Hi,

We're just creating some parsing algorithms to help our users make requests with the correct world-check profile id. Please correct if wrong:

1) A world-check profile id always has the following form:

e_tr_wcX_DIGITS

  • 'X' can take the value: 'i', 'v', or 'o' (individual, organisation, vessel)
  • DIGITS is a string of digits ONLY

2) The World-Check web app only displays the digits associated with a profile's full id.

Hi @Technical,

wrt point 1 in general this looks to be ok, though there are some profiles where the X value above is 'c' but these look to be countries, or ports.

wrt point 2, yes the web app value is the numeric value form the profile.
