How to use Rsearch using API in Python

Hi,

I would like to find the RIC code using a text name of a company. I have a template from DS support which uses Rsearch as =RSearch("EQUITY","Search:'"&A2&"' ISPrimaryRIC:Yes","NBROWS:1") in excel. How can I do this via API ?
