News Information on World-Check One, is there a News API we can used to get this information

Hi there,

Currently we have integrated with TR World-Check One API, however, we have a client requirement in which they would like us to get the News information relating to the entity that has been searched on. When looking at the TR World-Check one UI, we can see that there is a News Pop Up (see image below) in which the users can see Media information on the related entity, and can filter the information. Is there such a News API which would allow us to retrieve this information? If so can you point to me where I can read up on this?

Kind Regards

Derek

Hi @dereka

The Media Search functionality that you show in your question is not available via the API currently. However, there is a feature that is currently in development due to be released next year within the World-Check One API, that will allow screening and monitoring of names against news articles. Unofrtunately there is no documentation or marketing material available on that yet. If you are looking for a non-Risk-related news screening API, Thomson Reuters Eikon already provides a news API, via TRKD / Elektron. You can find out more about that here: https://developers.thomsonreuters.com/thomson-reuters-knowledge-direct-trkd

Hope this helps,

Emma

Hi emma.farmer

A customer in Mexico is asking about the "Media Check" feature, Do you know if this is already available within the World-Check One API?

Thanks in Advanced
