ETA is targeted for applications that need very high throughput with the lowest latency we offer. In addition, it exposes a wide array of tuning options so you have the ability to control your network layer down to the last detail. EMA is still quite performant but defaults many configuration options and provides more ease of use for rapid onboarding and a more intuitive user experience. If you are finding that EMA is able to handle your use case it sounds like you are at the right layer!
