EIKON Data API : ek.set_app_key()doesn't work.

Hi all,

I renewed my app key and tried to use EIKON Data API but when I try to use : ek.set_app_key() it didn't work which is instructed on quick start guide.

So I changed ek.set_app_key() to ek.set_app_id() it has worked.

Does anyone know why former one hasn't work?

Any information is appreciated.

Hi @Koji.Miyamoto,

Can you confirm which version of the Eikon module you are using? It should be 0.1.13.

Agree with @nick.zincone.1, try running pip install --upgrade eikon
