​Problem with a local excel file that is being locked by the Thomson Reuters API

Hi, I have a problem with a local excel file that is being locked by the Thomson Reuters API. The excel file contains proprietary information and is used within the TR environment to create some graphs. When I try to update the graphs on a daily basis it says that the file is locked for editing. I close the local instance of excel. Check for any excel ghost processes and close these if open. However it still says that the file is locked upon completing this. The only way to resolve the issue appears to be closing TR. Can you provide other methods to be able to update the file without closing TR?

The behavior you describe is not expected. Since it is machine specific, it cannot be investigated through this forum.
