Can't find Issue/Instrument name field in DSS (REST API)

I'd like to get, when extracting bond data and ratings, the name of the bond/security/issue (whatever you want to call it), but I can't find a field for that. Can you help ?

@bernard.thouin,

The methodology outlined in my answer to this query should hopefully help you find all data fields you need.

For this particular case I'm guessing it is the "Official Name" you are looking for, a field which is available in the Composite, Legal Entity and Terms and Conditions extractions.

Well, no joy, because what I use to get instruments data is the bond rating request, and that contains definitively (and strangely) no issue name, but only issuer name :(

Isn't there a generic request for instruments (securities), like the equivalent of the entity details, i.e. a kind of "instrument details" request ?

@bernard.thouin, well I'm no data specialist, but the request I'd look at for this type of information is Terms and Conditions. Have you looked at the fields that request delivers ?

@bernard.thouin

Hi Christiaan

I just looked at the fields of Terms and Conditions, but the "Official name" is not a field.

@bernard.thouin, the field name is "Official Name", with a capital N :-)
