Error code 101 at start of Eikon API - using MacOS

getting this error when I start the API. I am traveling and using the hotel wifi to connect.

Any suggestions please.

Do you still see the same error in the log that you saw previously:

[IPCBus:Broker] error = Error: getaddrinfo ENOTFOUND localhost...
and that you reported on this thread)? If yes, here are a couple of links for similar issues discussed on Stackoverflow.
In both cases the solution was to add localhost alias to the hosts file.

I hv updated the hosts file. Unfortunately under some wifi networks, the error still exists. will get more data and revert.
