Hi, how to know if your API service is activated?


when i put the url : http://localhost:9000/ping?all on a browser i get the following answer.

which doesn't include the api

{"path":"api"} missing from the "subApps" in the response to http://localhost:9000/ping?all indicates that Eikon API Proxy service is not activated for this user. The most likely reason is that the variant of Eikon you subscribe to does not include access to Eikon Data APIs.

Hi Alex, thank you, client upgraded to Research and Advisory but he is still unable to login. it says: authentication and Initializing. use the Python API

Are you saying the user is not able to launch Eikon application?

I believe they are able to launch Eikon. They just had a new login for a trial account Research & Advisory. And the API was extremely slow to download the data. it says: authentication and Initializing forever.

Eikon Data APIs library does not return messages such as "authentication" and "initializing". In order to provide any help I need to know what exactly the user is doing in the form of step by step replication procedure and the exact symptoms of the issue including any relevant messages quoted verbatim with indication where those messages are displayed. A screenshot is usually very helpful.
