SFCFeed and SFC configuraion about reconnect to TREP

Hi,

We use SFCFeed to subscribe from TREP.

Could you tell me about the reconnection mechanism, if connection lost, how long and how much time the SFCFeed will reconnect to TREP?

What are the parameters?

Hi @ge.zhang1

SFCFeed sounds like the name of some internal wrapper around our legacy SFC API.

Depending on the language version of your SFCFeed wrapper, the parameters may vary. Please download the correct language version of the API, extract the documentation files and refer to the sections on configuration to identify the relevant parameters.

SFC C++

SFC Java

SFC Com

As you may expect, the parameters will typically include words like retry or timeout in their name.

To be perfectly honest though, if you are facing some issues with your SFC wrapper, I would encourage you to move away from SFC to one of our more recent strategic APIs such as EMA Java or EMA C++. Or potentially our upcoming Refinitiv Data Platform libraries - depending on your implementation and usage requirements.
