How to distinguish between the lack of limit data and the absence of limit in Elektron

Hi,

We are looking at the limit price information published in Elektron in the fields LOLIMIT and UPLIMIT.

We would like to know how we can distinguish between a ric that does not have a limit and a ric for which Refinitiv does not have the limit(s) ?

For example, US equities do not have an upper price limit during the trading day, which means we get UPLIMIT=BLANK. However, does UPLIMIT=BLANK always mean there is no upper limit (i.e. any price will be accepted) or can it also means that there is an upper limit, but Refinitiv does not have that information ?

Thank you,

Didier Nadeau

Hello @didier.nadeau,

To help with Refinitiv content, you would advance best with the assistance from Refinitiv content experts. As a customer, please reach out to them via opening a support case on Refinitiv Content Helpdesk Online or dialing your local Refiniv Helpdesk, specify that you like help with content and product = Elektron realtime.

This forum is dedicated to and can be most helpful with general questions and discussions centered around Refiniv API usage, most of the members of the forum are developers, moderators are API experts, we lack the deep content expertise.

I hope this helps, if you meet with difficulties entering a support case, let us know here via comment, and we will create on your behalf. If you experience difficulties with your customer account on my.refinitiv, please reach out to your Refiniv account manager to help setup.
