Eikon API Proxy for Macs Errors then Quits

Hello, I'm in the beginning phases of using the Eikon API and whenever I try to open the Eikon API Proxy for Macs it crashes and closes. It displays the following error code: "An unexpected error has occurred Eikon API Proxy needs to be restarted. We are sorry for the inconvenience. TypeError: Cannot read property 'webContents' of null at click" followed by a bunch of pathways. Any suggestions
