I am trying to grab fund ownership data for a specific equity through the Eikon API, here is what the data looks like on the front end:
I am using the following python code:
import eikon as ek ek.set_app_key('mykey') df, e =ek.get_data('MSFT.O',['TR.FundAdjShrsHeld.InvestorPermID', 'TR.FundPortfolioName', 'TR.FundAdjShrsHeld', 'TR.FundHoldingsDate'], {'EndNum':'10000'})
Here is a sample of the result data:
When I check the Investor Perm ID column, and search the IDs back on Eikon, no results come up. I assumed that these ID's would be the fund PERM ID but it seems that is not the case.
Can you please explain how to obtain a proper fund ID for this data?
I got the same result when using Eikon Excel. I am also unable to check the Investor Perm ID column and search the IDs back on Eikon. Please directly contact the Eikon Support team via MyRefinitiv to verify the problem.
