file to download on the server

Making request to download RIC

Usually 5-7 minutes are needed, after which the download begins.

In recent days, it was several times that after a request to the server, Refinitiv waited 1-2 hours, after which download began. How to be in such a situation?

Why is this situation happening? Download file size 180-290 Gb

usually after 5-7 minutes, download starts, but it takes 1-2 hours, after which:

Hi @s61670,

The download time depends on the time of the day, load on the server and network traffic, besides your request type - for e.g. server might have to wait for the embargo period to expire, before the data can be given to a user.

You can try running your query at different time of the day to see if that helps.

As far as I am aware there are no SLA on delivery times provided for tick history downloads. It is best to reach out to your Refinitiv account manager, who can get you qualified answer from product owners.

We can only help with API relates issues on these forums.
