Connection Timed out

Hello guys, a client has recently changed to the new URL and in his first request he gets the following error


POST request for "https://selectapi.datascope.refinitiv.com/RestApi/v1/Extractions/ExtractWithNotes": Connection timed out: connect; nested exception is java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: connect


Would you know why or what is he missing?

The client needs to test with the DSS Java examples available in the DSS Downloads tab.


From the error, it looks like to be a connection issue.

Hi @alejandrolesaga,

Please have client use the DSS sample as recommended by @jirapongse.phuriphanvichai. It seems that they were able to get authorization token and extraction request timed out - which is weird.

We will need detailed output of their application to advise on this issue.
