Refinitiv DataScope & Tick History Mandatory Technical Changes

Hi DataScope/Tick History Team,

I am Rakesh Patel from Napier Support Team. We are supporting Transwatch Refinitiv product which gets Tick History feeds using DataScope API Select using following URL currently. We have multiple clients using this DataScope feeds.

https://hosted.datascopeapi.reuters.com/RestApi/v1/

The product we need help is Transaction Monitoring (TransWatch) Tick History (TRTH) v2 and News. We need to change the above URL to point to new DataScope Select API URL. This Refinitv mandatory change needs to be done end of this month.

Our Napier developer's have the source code of TRTH v2, however they do not have POM.xml. So they are having problems with compiling code.

Also if they could get Jar files related to below using in the TRTHv2 application .

Hi @rakesh.patel2 ,

The files that you mention don't seem to be provided by Refinitiv. You can ask your developer to download and see the Java code examples and try to follow the same approach for compiling your code.

Most likely your developers created that POM.XML for use with Maven project.

Hi Gurpreet, Note the TRTHv2 code was developed by Refinitiv. I was told to ask question on the developer portal by client's Refinitiv customer success specialist Sachi Morimoto. Also check with Aiqin Liu in Refinitiv team, she may have further details. Please can you check internally who developed this code and if they have POM.xml.

Hi @rakesh.patel2 ,

I heard back from the professional services @aiqin.liu0 , and they recommend not using maven, but to download the required jars and compiling the application.

Since Napier is also directly communicating to the professional services on this issue, the rest of the followup will be directly with them, and not through this developer community forum.
