PersonID does only sometimes work to retrieve data

Hello,

On a companies overview page when going to the Officers Detail Page (ESG->Officers) the PersonID for each officer can be retrieved from the URL. See the Example Link below.

But those PersonIDs only sometimes work to retrieve data via the Python API. Even if the data is always available.

Is this a bug or is my query not correct?

Hi,

The PersonID is not applicable to be used in ek.get_data function to retrieve officer information. Instead, only RIC could be used and only information of the chairman of the board could be retrieved.


You could try with following sample code to retrieve biography of each chairman of constituents of the DAX.

x,e = ek.get_data(instruments='0#.GDAXI', fields=['TR.CompanyName','TR.ODOfficerBiography', 'TR.OfficerName','TR.ODOfficerPositionDesc','TR.ODOfficerPermID'])
