Sample RFAJ version 7.x and 8.x based application

Hello

We have a client who is experiencing troubles connecting to their LPC service from our RFAJ 7.x application. The symptoms are very similar to the symptoms described in https://community.developers.refinitiv.com/questions/73627/rfa-login-response-with-lpc.html

The client does not seem to be receiving the login response even when the user is accepted by the LPC service. The lpc.log claims:

Logging out client ipcSession.14 on socket 18 from source 127.0.0.1. Removing secure channel socketId 19. Reason from client: rsslRead() failed with code -1 and system error 11. Text: </local/jenkins/workspace/RRTLPC/OS/RH8-64/esdk/source/esdk/Cpp-C/Eta/Impl/Transport/rsslSocketTransportImpl.c:669> Error:1002 ipcRead() failure. Connection reset by peer

Is there any sample RFAJ based application we could use to verify that the RFAJ library is not affected by the bug? We would obviously upgrade the library version to 8.x but it is not clear at this point if the upgrade would resolve the issue. Also, RFAJ version 8.x supposedly changed some java package namespace so there should be separate version of the test application using RFAJ 7.x.

Could you please provide some info or suggest how to best verify the connection is fine even for RFAJ based applications?

Thank you

Hi @vojtech.broz,

Only the latest RFA - 8.1.3.L1 or higher will run with LPC. RFA 7 or earlier version of 8 are not supported.
