Is there a library for performing Novus Extracts?
Randy Aldrich
There are several systems that are performing Novus Extracts as part of their process. At this point, all systems have implemented their own extract request generation and monitoring solutions (all utilizing LTC & 3rd party notify).
We were wondering if anyone has written a library or REST service that can be utilized to perform this besides the Search & Extract UI?

Some information is available on [How to perform an Extract][1] however a good library for the entire process is not yet available to my knowledge.

The Novus Publishing GUI (

provides an interface for using Novus Extract.

Unfortunately that doesn't meet our needs. We need the ability to programatically perform extracts of specific GUIDs and/or full collections. The Novus GUI provides the ability to extract full collections but it doesn't seem to support per-guid extracts.
The [Search & Extract UI][1] provides per GUID (and other search capabilities) but not a programatic solution and is only applicable for Novus Document extracts, NORT/NORM and other types of collections are not supported.
