TFS Command Line Examples

Attempting to use TFS from the command line using the tf.exe command. In particular, I'm trying to get the history for a directory in the WLN TFS repository. When connecting via MS Visual Studio, the server is tfsnpt.int.thomson.com and the URL is http://tfsnpt.int.thomson.com:8080/tfs. I haven't been able to successfully use this to connect via the command line.

Does anyone have any examples of doing history or get commands against this repository?
