As it relates to our signon process. Where can I find documentation for it?

Mud (Multiple Url redirector) is a standalone web site that has 2 purposes today for WAF based products (i.e. Web2):

1. It handles the conversion of a Sponsor Code that is passed on the URL into the Westlaw Password. This includes any UI screens that are needed for the user to answer questions.
2. It handles translating URLs from one syntax to another for delivered documents, not for online content. Today's MUD only translates from WAF based URL's into WLN URL's.

This functionality is being separated for transition into two different applications. OnePass is taking over #1, moving the authentication piece for Sponsor Codes into to the existing Authentication system. Today WLN has it's own screens for this, but calls the OnePass services to retrieve information. COSI has implemented these screens generically, but we need to have the second part of the transition complete before moving WLN to COSI for Sponsors. This is because the business only wants one location to edit sponsor information, not two.

Item 2 above is being transitioned into a new system to oversee url translation. This system will be rules based, and allow the url to be translated between any two products/versions. This is just being started, and doesn't have a completion date yet.

For signon, the only products that it is involved with is those that are WAF based (Web2, Canada Classic, etc), otherwise it only plays a role in translating URLs in delivered documents.
