Does anyone have information on charts.reuters.com?
john.duprey
I've been using charts.retuers.com for a couple of years now. It works reliably.
Is there an API guide anywhere? Who owns it? Who maintains it?
e.g.
http://charts.reuters.com/reuters/enhancements/chartapi/chart_api.asp?symbol=.N225&width=600&height=400

This looks fairly identical to the charts on reuters.com, so must likely they do.

Looks like the same charts that we have embedded in the Reuters News mobile apps. Assuming it is, then I can say this:
We have never seen an API guide other than the URL that we have to pull the data and its associated parameters (likely a subset). The work we did was invested in getting the chart to render correctly with the data returned from this call.
Here is a sample call if you want to try it out:

Heard back from the news tech team. The charting component is licensed from a 3rd party for use within reuters.com and not intended for use outside of reuters.com. Hence, no SLA or support is available.
