What's my "User Id" in AlertSupportCenter for web2 alerts?
Benjamin Anderson
I've previously used AlertSupportCenter to view my cobalt alerts by doing a lookup using my Prism GUID. This works great. I was assuming I would be able to use that same guid to see alerts I've created in web2 apps. However, I've created alerts in both WestlawClassic and TaxnetProv2 and I'm not seeing them listed in AlertSupportCenter. I'm guessing I need to do a lookup using a different id?
Thanks,
Ben

James Curtis just walked me through this...
save the alert in westlaw and watch the http traffic:
http://web2qa.westlaw.com/westclip/entry.aspx?rtac=y&action=edit&rs=WLW14.04&vr=2.0&rp=/westclip/default.wl&sv=Split&fn=_top&esc=i0adc391a000001457609da73bbc164e2&mt=Westlaw
use that guid from esc param to look up the alert by alertid in alertsupportcenter. And there you'll find your userid and you can look up all your web2 alerts by it.

I should add, the user ID appears to be the numeric portion of your reg key.
