Tick history (Time and Sales data) retrieval for US exchanges

Hello Team,

As mentioned in some posts in the forums, TickHistory product/service has been retired and replaced with DataScope Select and REST API, correct?

I would like to retrieve Time and Sales tick data history for NYSE, NASDAQ, ARCA stocks on ad-hoc basis. Is DataScope Select the service we need to use? Is it possible to retrieve TAS historical data using API(REST only?).

Hello @NWM, The TickHistory version 2 is the right product to use. Old version 1 which used SOAP API has been replaced with the new REST interface. You can retrieve Time and Sales data using the REST API. See more about the new tick history interface in the quickstart and tutorials.

There are various examples in .NET, Python, Java and Postman which demonstrate how use the API.

Is TickHistory Version 2 a separate product/service in itself Or integrated into Data Scope Select (DSS) ?

@NWM, Tick History and DSS use the same servers, but they are different commercial offerings. If you are unsure of what you are entitled to, I suggest you contact your account manager.
