DSS parallel processing - sending API request for 5000 chains - in multiple batches

Hi,

Client has a requirement to request 5000 rics report via DSS API .

Will there be any issue at the backend if such parallel requests are being made? If yes , what is the threshold?

    Hi @raghava.belagola,

    You can find this information in the Best Practices and Limits for DataScope Select.

    In general, submitting a single job that reports on multiple instruments is faster than submitting several jobs that each report on one instrument.

    For the maximum number of Instruments in a request, please see "Extraction Limits: Concurrent Requests per Report Template Type" section.

    For limit number of concurrent request, please see "Extraction Limits: Concurrent Requests per Report Template Type" section.
