I need a someone to develop a tool to query historical prices from Datascope Select (DSS) and import them into our SQL Server database


This should be a 3 step process:

  1. Populate required prices/FX rates from positions in our SQL server database
  2. Retrieve data (historical prices / FX rates) from DSS
  3. Import prices into our SQL server database

    Hi @bt14, We can provide technical help with Refinitiv API only. The DSS provides a .NET SDK and a fully functional application containing ready to run code snippets in C# language. In addition we provide code snippets in Python and Java on the developers portal as well.

    For your application, it is best to search for a 3rd party resource, who can program in .NET and point them to Quickstart and Tutorials on the developers portal. This should get them started and they are welcome to ask any technical questions here.
