Why after I start downloading, does real downloading begin only in 5-7 minutes?

The request takes time to process, and depending on the size of the request, it can take the time that you describe.

nteresting situation:

The file is downloaded faster in 1 week than five files (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday), although the file size in 1 week is equal to the size of 5 files.

Can this situation be somehow corrected?

Reduce time while a download request is being processed?

If in DataScope - Schedules create lists for download so as not to waste time processing when sending a request to REST API?

How do I find and download prepared files from DataScope - Schedules through the REST API?

Question: Why after I start downloading, does real downloading begin only in 5-7 minutes?

Answer: Ideally, once the extraction completed and clicked on the “Download” button downloading should happen immediately.

Could you please let us know where you are downloading the file from? Is it the DSS website? and what size of the file is? It would be great if you can share the extraction note file.

Do you mean that the file had downloaded faster in the weekend when comparing to weekdays?
Could you please clarify the "file size in 1 week is equal to the size of 5 files” message? Does it mean the size of the file downloaded on a weekend is the same as the sum of 5 days file?

Question: If in DataScope - Schedules create lists for download so as not to waste time processing when sending a request to REST API?

Answer: DataScope will have a list of completed extraction on DSS Web site if it is scheduled and completed on DSS GUI, please see this post for the steps to download the files through API.
