Number of decimal places

Is there a way to specify using RFA .net api the number of decimal places needed for a field.

RFA and other TREP APIs does not have option to specify number of decimal place when you request item. Basically it provide data to appliation layer as is. The value and magnitudeType of data type such as Real or Real64 has been set by the Publisher/Data Feed.
