Yes, RFA can support this streaming data. If your existing application was written in an older version of RFA, then there will be data model changes from Marketfeed to OMM, requiring a major rewrite of application anyways.
See this webinar for migration from RFA to EMA - https://developers.thomsonreuters.com/news#news-accordion-nid-30258
@mahesh.ankulkar Is this a new application or are you rewriting an existing one. For new apps, we recommend using the Elektron Message API. You can follow the step by step Quickstart and Turotials for EMA.
RFA is no longer recommended for new development, since it is a feature complete API. You can follow RFA tutorials here.
Hi Gurpreet, Thanks for your response. This is existing application. We want to enhance existing application first. Migrating to Elektron is major task which is there in long term plan.
For now we are exploring quick possibilities. Let us know if RFA can support this and how.
Do you recommend using IDN_SELECTFEED service for this? Any examples of using this service?
Thanks Gurpreet , By older version mean - can you pl specify version before which need major modifications? Do you think version 8 will require major changes?
If your application was built using MarketFeed messages, then it would require lot of changes. This could be with any RFA version upto 7.x
Thanks Gurpreet , As I see we are using Version 8 and OMM.
