Unable to download the EOD Data via AWS

Hi,

I am not able to download the EOD data via AWS. The Request file is getting accepted and able to view data via Tick history, but while trying to request for AWS link for the same data, we get the location field as null in response. Please let us know, if EOD data is available in AWS or we will have to use tick history for data download.

Thanks!

@Aishwarya.s1,

AWS download is only available for the TRTH extractions which generate the most data, i.e.:

  • Venue By Day
  • Time and Sales
  • Market Depth
  • Intraday Summaries
  • Raw reports

AWS download is not available for the other extractions, like EoD, because they generate less data and thus AWS would not deliver a great performance advantage.

As EoD data is not available for AWS download, you must download it directly from the TRTH servers instead. This is of course possible using the API.

To see the difference between retrieving from AWS or TRTH using the API, see:

For more information on TRTH and AWS downloads, see the Boost TRTH downloads with AWS article.

Hope this helps.
