Is there documentation/examples for using DACS over UPA not Locks part of the API?

I don't understand, please explain further what you are trying to do. Locks is the only part that affects UPA. Maybe you are after OpenDACS?

There is no document or example in UPA package regarding the usage of DACS Lib to connect to DACS server. It only provides a document and example for generating DACS Locks.

Currently, the only public API that can connect to DACS server is Open DACS. It has three versions: Open DACS C++, Open DACS Java and Open DACS .NET.
