Signing of .dll files or how to move the program completely to another directory

Hello,

at our company we need to move programs from C:\\User to C:\\Program Files. After installing Eikon in Program Files, there are still .dll-files in C:\\Users directory which are executed during the usage of Eikon.

Maybe this is related with Microsoft Office Excel?

Our IT-Department suggested a signing of these specific .dll-files. Is this possible? If not, is there another solution to ensure the complete program runs on certain directories without touching C:\\Users? Many thanks in advance for your response.

Kind regards

Thomas

Hi @FestoUser

This forum is primarily for developer/programming type questions using our libraries, SDKs and APIs.

The moderators are not experts on the specifics of the Eikon desktop application installation.

Therefore, I would recommend you create a My.Refinitiv ticket for the Eikon product which should get routed to someone who can help you with this issue e.g.
