RFA can't connect to DataScope Select (DSS). It supports Refinitiv-RealTime products, such as Edge devices, and Refintiiv Real-Time Distribution System (RTDS). Those products use our proprietary standards so we need to provide APIs, such as RFA, and Refinitiv Real-Time APIs to connect to those products.
On the other hand, DataScope Select supports REST API, an industry-standard and we provided several examples that can be used to extract data from DSS. Please refer to the Downloads and Tutorials page on the Refinitiv DataScope Select - REST API page on the Refinitiv Developer website. There are examples in Postman, Python, C#, Node, and Java.
Moreover, we can use a tool like Postman to generate REST API calls, as demonstrated in this article: Generate code for a REST API call using Postman in just a few clicks.
