0#TRTSYC=IS chain read by RFA 7.0 API is inconsistent with Eikon problem.

Our software implemented by RFA 7.0 C# gets 0#TRTSYC=IS chain data. When we check the coming data with Eikon app, we realized that those data are different. Some of the RICs in the chain does not exist in the our software., but Eikon has those RICs. Some of the incoming RICs are not updated in our software although eikon is updated.

TRT011025T16 ,TRT170424T17,TRT080524T17,TRT170724T14,TRT011025T16,TRT280432T14, TRT200324T13, TRD050724T16, TRT240724T15, TRT290125T15, TRT180625T13, TRT190826T19, TRT110827T16, TRT171127T15, TRT131130T14, TRT110232T15 information does not exist in our software, but we see those data in Eikon screen. Thanks for reaching out to us.

Please confirm the name and the version of RFA that you are using. Is it RFA.NET?

I checked and found that RFA.NET and RFA C++ 7.0 have been end-of-life since 2014. We don't support RFA 7.0 anymore.

I ran the StarterConsumer_Chain example in the RFA.NET package and got 86 items (rics.txt).

I assume that items can be added and removed. You may need to run the StarterConsumer_Chain example in the package to verify what the problem is.

I hope that this information is of help.

  • Thanks. How can i download / or where can i find StarterConsumer_Chain example?

  • We are using RFA.NET 7.0 by the way. As far as i know we can still use it until 2026 although refinitive does not give technical support. Actually we have a renovation project plan on this issue. But, we have a project using this chain and production deadline is June 4. So, for now we are trying to get prices with our existing application.

Many thx for your help. Best.

It is an example in the RFA C++ and RFA.NET packages.

You can download the RFA packages from MyRefinitiv.

They are in the MDS - API product family.
