When selecting which type of Authentication to use for V2 within Platform Administration Application, what are the pros and cons of using Secret vs. JWT and vice versa

From the application perspective, there is no difference. They both get sent as the part of authentication process.
JSON Web tokens are a standard technology and a user is responsible for generating/signing/managing the tokens and providing it to LSEG through PAA. It is more involved process compared to using a client secret, but larger accounts might have a mechanisms in place to automate the whole process.
