Composite Accrual Field

I'm currently using the composite on demand extraction to get the daily accrual of a Mutual Fund. I'm currently using the 'Accrual' field to get the daily dividend accrual and I have a few questions:

Question1:
Can we change the precision of the accrual returned? Increasing/Decreasing it through the API?

Question2:
Is there a way to query accrual by accrual date? Another question can we a get a list of accruals given a range of dates?

If any of these aren't possible, is there another on demand template that can support this?

You cannot change the number precision through the API.
