I’m a student working on a research project involving historical bond holdings, and I came across the eMAXX FTP feed, which I understand provides access to such data. However, I’m not sure what this feed is or how to use it.

Since I’m using a student account, I don’t have access to live chat support, so I’m reaching out here for guidance.

Can someone explain how the eMAXX FTP feed works and how I can use it to download data? Do I need special credentials or permissions to access it? Any step-by-step advice or resources would be greatly appreciated!

If you are using Eikon or LSEG Workspace in your university for your research project, you can contact your Eikon or Workspace local adminstrator regarding the eMAXX feed product. Your administrator should know if you have permission to access the eMAXX feed. Otherwise, your administrator can contact the LSEG local account team or sales regarding how to access the eMAXX feed.
