How to download compressed .csv.gz files for immediate schedules using Tick History API?

I was wondering if there is a way to download the compressed .csv.gz files from these immediate schedules using API. My files are too large that downloading .csv.gz makes more sense.

Yes, you can use the Tick History REST API to download files by using ExtractedFileId with the following endpoint.

https://selectapi.datascope.refinitiv.com/RestApi/v1/Extractions/ExtractedFiles('<ExtractedFileId>')/$value

I think your example downloads csv file, instead of csv.gz, though.

This endpoint is used to retrieve an extracted file.

https://selectapi.datascope.refinitiv.com/RestApi/v1/Extractions/ExtractedFiles('<ExtractedFileId>')/$value

Howeer, some applications and libraries can automatically decompress the gz file and the appliation will see the content in the gz file. You need to disable this feature in the library that you are using to get a file.

For example, Postman will show the CSV content instead of the gz file.
