Accessing Transcripts & General Earning Call Data (Audio, Text etc)

I saw from some past questions that it's possible to access transcripts by leveraging the ongoing connection with Eikon / Workspace using the get_data or get_news function. However, what I want to do is connect to an API WITHOUT having the terminal open, using a username and password, similar to how I use RDP for filings (API key) using a JSOn config file. Is this possible? If so, how? Can you provide a Python code snippet? We've been told that we are entitled to view this data during the current trial.

Thank you for reaching out to us.

You can use the LSEG Data Library for Python to access data from RDP. It supports the get_data and get_headlines functions. However, you need to have permission to access those services on RDP.

Thanks but I haven't found any example or tutorial specifically related to Transcripts at that URL and subfolders … there are examples for Filings, but that's another story no ?

I am not sure if Transcripts are available on the RDP. I checked previous discussions and found transcripts may not be available.

You can contact your LSEG account team or sales team directly to confirm this.

Looks like that Transcripts are a standalone feed (not on QA, not on DSWS)
