Documentation of all potential field names for more effective lookup of items, i am looking mainly for fundamental and price data of equities accessible over Python API.

If you mean the fundamental and references fields (TR.xxx) fields, as far as I know, we don't have the API to list all TR.xxx fields.
The client can search fields and parameters from the Data Item Browser tool.
