I am looking for a way to use the transcripts from earnings calls, conference calls, company events

I am looking for a way to use the transcripts from earnings calls, conference calls, company events etc. I want to access the data and also import them via an API in python to perform some analysis.

Could you please let me know:

If with the products that I currently have, I can have access to this kind of information?
If not which products do you have that offer this kind of information?
How are the information structured in there?
What is the connection process (is there an API for python)? Can I iteratively load the earnings calls transcripts for the companies of an index?
What is the pricing? Is there a trial subscription I can test with?

There are multiple products like RDP, Datastream, Starmine etc, all of which provide earnings data using API. You can begin by reading these articles on the Dev Portal. Each product also has Quickstart guides and turorials, which can help get started with the product.

Coming back to that, as I took a closer look.

I see from your examples that the two products used are the MarketPsych Transcripts Analytics and the Corporate Earnings Transcripts and Briefs.

Didn’t see any mention with the tools I currently have, namely Eikon (ek.get_data) and Datastream (your last example is about DataStream but deals with fundamentals of companies not earnings transcripts).

Wanted to ask you if I am missing something and it is possible to access the info via the products I currently have. And if yes how?

And if an additional product is needed, what is the cost of that?
