Is it possible to use EOD report template to retrieve historic prices? (must avoid using TimeSeries templates). This is in xml format via sftp requests to Datascope Select

The EOD DSS report template can't be used to retrieve historical prices.
The DSS report template that can provide historical prices is PriceHistoryExtractionRequest.

I read somewhere that using an EOD schedule via sftp with trigger set to false would allow a historical price to be retrieved. Is this impossible?
The 'End of Data Pricing' DSS report template does not include parameters for specifying start and end dates so it can't provide historical data.
