DSWS and Eikon DFO

I'm an Eikon DFO subscriber and was wondering whether or not this license covered DSWS. @Akechi Sato, I saw that you had an issue with the monthly data allowance and said you had Eikon w/ DFO. Did you also have a separate license with DSWS or did it come with DSWS API access?

Hi

There are two versions of our DSWS API service. One for desktop use (which has a monthly usage cap) & one for enterprise use. If you have Eikon DFO then you can contact your account manager who would be able to advise which would best suit you needs. The Desktop version is a free add on to your existing service.

Thanks for your answer @paul.bacon. Does the Desktop version also allow API access (via, for example, PyDSWS)?

Hi @handrew11 Yes, both versions can user the PyDSWS. If prefered the add ins within Matlab 2018b, Eviews10 or the R code.
