Can Eikon Python API only be used from your local machine?

My workplace has an internal cloud platform where we run Python/Jupyter sessions from linux machines, connecting through our web browsers. Would it be possible to use the Eikon API with this setup (using my individual login credentials), or does it require you to have the desktop app running on your local machine?

    Hi,

    The desktop app must running on the same machine than Python scripts.
