How to get an eod feed from some file sent from ERT API?

What is the recommendation to get EOD prices at T+0 (on the day) from Reuters we can do with : (a ) snap official close from Reuters real time feed, what we have been doing so far (b ) get an eod feed from some file sent from ERT API? can see a problem yesterday for instance on RIC: .dMIWD00000NEU

If you are using TREP APIs or Elektron APIs, it could be the first option (snap official close from Elektron real-time feed).

Please explain more about the second option.
